The Newtown Business Association

Connecting businesses. Strengthening community.

Posted

The Newtown Business Association (NBA) has long been a driving force behind the vibrant business and community life that makes Newtown a special place to live and work.

While the NBA supports local businesses, its impact reaches far beyond the business community. Many of the events and traditions residents enjoy each year are organized by the NBA and its volunteer members, all committed to making Newtown an incredible place to shop, dine, and gather.

From the summer energy of Newtown Welcome Day and the Antique & Classic Car Show to the festive spirit of the Holiday Parade, NBA-organized events and social media activities bring tens of thousands of residents together with local businesses each year.

Next up: the NBA Business Expo on April 22.

This annual Expo gives community members a chance to meet dozens of local businesses, enjoy tastings from local restaurants and caterers, and explore vendor booths featuring products and services — often with drawings, giveaways, and special promotions.

Expo 2026 will be held at Rafters Venue (101 Friends Ln. in Newtown) on Wednesday, April 22, from 4–7 pm. Stop by and discover what Newtown’s business community has to offer. (You’ll find more details in the Expo ad featured in this issue.)

Of course, the NBA also serves local businesses directly. Through monthly networking events, communication, and collaboration, members build relationships, share ideas, and support one another’s success.

If you own a business — or plan to start one — the Newtown Business Association offers connections, visibility, and community support to help you grow.
