Fonthill Castle, operated by the Bucks County Historical Society (BCHS), is thrilled to host its annual Fonthill Castle Beer Fest fundraising event on Saturday, August 23 from 2 – 5 pm in Doylestown.

This fun-filled afternoon welcomes beer enthusiasts over the age of 21 to the spacious outdoor grounds of Fonthill Castle, with plenty of room to mingle outside and enjoy the one-of-a-kind setting while sampling a variety of regional craft brews from 17 breweries.

This annual fundraising event hosted by the BCHS supports an array of year-round education, community programs, and conservation efforts at Fonthill Castle, a National Historic Landmark.

The 2025 Fonthill Castle Beer Fest kicks off with a special VIP hour from 1 – 2 pm, and general admission hours from 2 – 5 pm.

VIP guests enjoy a bespoke event experience, including one-hour early admission to the event and all-access to General Admission breweries, exclusive access to the historic Terrace Pavilion, a VIP-only lounge area with comfortable seating, air-conditioning, and restroom, exclusive VIP curated beer options provided by B&B Beverage, specialty catered VIP food offerings, and deluxe chocolates from Pierre’s Chocolates.

This year’s Fonthill Castle Beer Fest features delicious light bites by The Catering Company and the musical talents of Billy & Miles from Where’s Pete Band. A commemorative beer-tasting glass for VIP and General Admission ticket holders serves as a perfect keepsake for those supporting Fonthill Castle’s preservation and educational initiatives.

“We are thrilled to host our annual Beer Fest once again at Fonthill Castle,” says Kyle McKoy, President & CEO of BCHS. “This major fundraising event is crucial to our mission and the generous support of our attendees helps us to continue our educational and preservation initiatives.”

Tickets for this fundraising event are $175 per person for VIP, $500 for a VIP 4-pack, $95 for General Admission, $90 for BCHS Member General Admission, and $25 for Designated Drivers.

More information, including the full list of participating breweries, and tickets are available at mercermuseum.org/beerfest.
