Spotlight: Charlann Farms

Spring forward

Posted

The winter months always provide our small, sixth generation family farm with much needed rest, especially after a busy fall and holiday season, but it is also a time for planning.

As one of the few farms left in our area, we at Charlann Farms continue to evolve while staying rooted in our agricultural traditions. We are committed not only to growing fresh, local produce, but also to practicing more regenerative and sustainable farming methods that help preserve our soil, protect our land, and support future generations of farming. From improving soil health to finding environmentally conscious ways to grow and operate, we are always looking for ways to better steward the farm for years to come.

In order to continue serving our community, we have been creatively searching for new ways to enhance our roadside market and expand our agritainment offerings. We continue to add new locally sourced products and grocery essentials to meet the needs of our customers. In addition to children’s birthday party packages and private events, we are planning to add new attractions and experiences throughout the farm to make every visit even more enjoyable.

Our 2026 event season kicked off on May 8 with the Funny Farm Comedy Show Summer Series, with additional shows scheduled for June 12, July 10, August 14, and September 11. We’ll also be hosting our annual Touch a Truck and Tractor Event on May 30, followed by our Country Night Line Dancing Event on June 20. These events are just a few of the many exciting experiences planned for the months ahead.

With every changing season, we at Charlann Farms find ourselves continuing to grow, innovate, and expand with the goal of farming for generations to come. Visit www.charlannfarms.com to learn more about everything we have to offer!
