Bucks County Housing Group prepares first #togethertuesday

Bucks County Housing Group is excited to prepare for the first celebration of #TogetherTuesday.

The inagural TogetherTuesday kicks off June 23rd and will focus on individuals and families doing good deeds for the community. #TogetherTuesday was created by the same team behind #GivingTuesday, a day of giving on the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving.

It’s also a great way to honor the legacy of our founders as our nation’s 250th anniversary approaches. As John Adams wrote in a 1776 letter, “There must be a positive passion for the public good...established in the Minds of the People, or there can be no...government, nor any real Liberty.” Adams’s words still ring true today, and we can practice our passion for the public good by celebrating #TogetherTuesday.

You can help by donating a bucket full of cleaning supplies, or new backpacks and supplies for local low-income students (grades K-12) in Bucks County at our Warminster office location, and food at either of our Penndel or Doylestown food pantries. Your efforts and generous donations are deeply appreciated. Bucks County Housing Group and other organizations could not function properly without these donations, thank you all.

We ask you to share your activities on all social media platforms on June 23rd! Spreading the word online will snowball into more people being active in their communities.

Be sure to tag Bucks County Housing Group and bchg.org/TogetherTuesday, and use #TogetherTuesday.
